thehorse 221 #1 Posted January 24, 2016 At 4 am when my wife let the pup out, I knew the weather prognosticators dropped the ball yet again! At 730 am I was spinning all 4 coopers at warp speed to craw to the main road! When I got home it was horse time! 24 1/2 inches, 3 driveways and 5 hours led to a bottle of home made wine and 4 ipa's! And satisfaction of a job well done! Thank God it was light and fluffy or the story may be quite different. After hours and hours, the belts were quite noisy! Face and horse same color....need a cab!
elcamino/wheelhorse 9,362 #2 Posted January 24, 2016 My wife and I were wondering how that part of PA was making out . We have an uncle in New Paris ( he is 85) and were worried about him plowing snow and heading to Duncansville tomorrow. Hope you don't get much more snow. It has finally stopped down here. Going to measure tomorrow.
Wishin4a416 2,191 #3 Posted January 24, 2016 Job well done!!! We got a lot less here to the West. 10-12. How's the power in your area?
Tankman 3,523 #4 Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) Perkasie, just south of Allentown, 'bout 2 ft of junque. I'm sippin' coffee. As soon as I can muster, Simplicity 16 hp and a 36" blower. Two Horses, 48" blades, heading outdoors. I would rather dine on Conch Fritters in Key West. Update. Finished up with 30" of the nasty white junque. Three drivers = Three hours! N3PUY 1,031 #5 Posted January 24, 2016 And 1 hour north of Duncansville (Clearfield County) we got maybe 2" of snow. That's it on the roof of the van. But I plowed anyways!
Don1977 605 #6 Posted January 24, 2016 We got 4 to 5 " snow and sleet here in North Carolina the 1/2" ice they were predicting went below us. I scraped it off the drive with the grader blade and the 312-8. It's already started to melt. I want to get as much off as possible as my drive get messy on top when it gets real wet.
