formariz 12,045 #1 Posted January 24, 2016 First of all thank you Ken B for this unstoppable machine. Its been quite a few years and every time I sit on this thing I love it more and more. Having an extremely steep driveway one has to see it to believe it. Doesn't matter if I am going fast, slow, forward, reverse, even with a full plow of wet snow. Its absolutely unstoppable. The plow guys stop on the street all the time to watch me and just shake their heads in disbelief. And thank you David Luzier for rebuilding the Sundstrand for me. Absolutely first rate class work. An already incredible machine has now become even better. Totally reliable and predictable. Bone dry with no leaks. It will go up a three foot high pile of snow until I am nearly vertical.

daveoman1966 3,841 #4 Posted January 24, 2016 Good to know your Electro 12 got is life back from my rebuild of the Sundstrand. These old dawgs can do more than expected, even 45 years beyond. Now, why is it that you guys in Jersey get all the snow-pushin' fun. I am just off the edge of Lake Erie...about 40 miles inland, where we typically are in the 'snow belt' for the lake effect snow. Not this year though. We now have 4 to 6" on the ground and have had no more than 1 foot TOTAL accumu this year.
squonk 43,843 #5 Posted January 24, 2016 I may have gotten 4" total all season. I have only started tractors just to move them to sweep the floor.
MalMac 1,332 #6 Posted January 24, 2016 After all the years I have been around these little red jewels, it still amazes me the capabilities of them. I also concur on living in a heavy lake effect snowbelt . We have had maybe 5 in totall this year so far in 3 separate snows. Only started the tractors to keep batteries alive. Not complaining though after seeing what the guys are going throug out east. We usually get hammer at least a couple of times a year. This year nothing. I am already looking forward to spring grass cutting.
Ken B 3,189 #7 Posted January 24, 2016 Great too hear the old Electro is still alive and kickin and in good hands. That tractor could really push the snow and was known to climb a few snow banks..There really is something about that tractor.. Unstoppable just about sums it up!
pfrederi 18,689 #8 Posted January 24, 2016 My Charger 12 is on plow duty the Electro (16) is on the blower. The limited slip differentials are awesome..better than my 418A
