Mule Drive Value

What do you think a mule drive in usable condition would be worth?

I am working on a fellows tractor and his mule drive is bent...I have one to replace his, but I'm wondering what to charge for it.

If it was mine and I didn't have a need for it I would see what they go for on Ebay and ask half that amount, point out what a good buy you are giving him.

With a good knob, bearings, and pulleys.....$50 retail.           Thanks for changing the title on this post....I checked 6 mule drives and couldn't find the valve.  :teasing-poke:

Did I have valve instead of value...Damn, I am anal about that on other posts and now I did it!

I had a couple of really bad days at work this past week, so I will place the blame on that!!

Thanks all for the response on the value (or valve) of the donkey mule drive!

Don't sweat it. A "u" is a tired "v".

That's OK, I read his reply as "I checked 6 mule drives and couldn't find the value."  Couldn't figure out what he meant

I don't see a thing wrong with $50 if it's complete and in good condition. Two new idler pulleys will run you close to $40. I would make the offer after he shows up, you can switch it out then.

Careful with mules. There may be right and left drives, double check.
