emwrench 1 #1 Posted December 28, 2015 (edited) I am in the process of restoring my fathers 1969 Workhorse 700. I went to a defunct Wheel Horse dealer looking for some spare parts and came home with another project tractor for my son. I am trying to purchase a parts manual for it, but I am confused as to what it is. It has a single cylinder Kohler engine and an 8 speed trans. The model tag is 10360 8, serial 918731. I looked it up and came up with a 1973 10hp Raider. However when I look up pictures for these older tractors it looks more like a 1974 B100. My tractor has the newer style pto handle built into the dash console not bolted onto the outside, and my tractor has seat springs that no Raider pictures I have found use. Any help would be appreciated. Edited December 28, 2015 by emwrench

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,489 #3 Posted December 28, 2015 Welcome to the forum. You have it figured out except the Raider model name was last used in 1972 for the North American product. It continued being used in Europe with a common model number. The 1973 models are commonly known as the no-name models so your's is a 10hp 6-speed or 8-speed if you count reverse. The model number is just 1-0360. The 8 on the end is not used but if you subtract 5 from that 6th digit you get the model year. 8-5=3=1973 You will see 6, 7, 8 and 9 on the attachments at the time also representing 1971, 1972, 1973 and 1974. The front quick-hitch was standard equipment in 1973 so this model is very similar to the 1974 B-100 which was the first year for the new model names. 953 nut 60,070 #4 Posted December 28, 2015 It is always great to see a son restoring his dad's , even better when a third generation is encouraged to join in.
emwrench 1 #6 Posted December 28, 2015 Thanks for the help. What should I get for a parts manual? Will the B100 manual work?
emwrench 1 #7 Posted December 28, 2015 Here are a couple of pictures of the new project tractor for my son, a couple of the in progress pictures and a before shot of my Dad's 1969 Workhorse 700. That was the first motorized vehicle I ever drove. I want to rebuild/modify the 1973 so my son can have the same experience with his own tractor to drive/learn/care for.
953 nut 60,070 #8 Posted December 28, 2015 Here are a couple of downloads that may be helpful on the '73 NoName 10. Other manuals can be downloaded free on this site. Let us know how things are going. http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/files/file/1960-tractor-1973-8-spd-8hp-10hp-12hp-14hp-8-speed-om-wiringpdf/
