boovuc 1,090 #7 Posted December 25, 2015 Nice old horses and whatever that yellow thing is???? I feel bad for the folks down south where the heavy weather hit mid-week. We had 70 here near Penn State. Got some trout fishing in today. You do know we WILL pay for this nice weather soon! Only a matter of time. Be safe and have a nice Christmas/New Year.

shallowwatersailor 3,214 #9 Posted December 25, 2015 74 degrees yesterday and 1-1/2" of rain. That would have been over 15" of snow if it was colder! I am still procrastinating on setting up the tractors for winter!!!
rjg854 12,151 #10 Posted December 25, 2015 I kinda wish I had waited also, seems strange to ride down to the mailbox and have a snowblower hanging on the front of the Commando, when it's 64 degrees

953 nut 59,716 #13 Posted December 25, 2015 I have no idea how much rain we have had the past two days, rain gauge only goes to 5" and it overflowed. But, it stopped at about 4:30 PM in time to put out the "Love Lights" along the walkway to our church for the Christmas Eve services. The branch creek that flows through our property is generally a babbling brook, now it is a raging whitecaped torrent. If this had been snow we wouldn't see the rest of the world for a month, I'll take the rain! Hope those of you who want snow get some soon, count me out.
