cstein2568 13 #1 Posted December 21, 2015 Greeting WHF, my name is Chris and I'm a long time listener first time caller. I own a '94 416-H with dual stage blower, grader blade, 48" snow blade, tiller, and mowing deck. The Onan has treated me well thus far. The previous owner had a [poor] auto mechanic do some work to the tractor and I've been ironing out some of those bugs since I've gotten the machine. I love it and can't wait to use it for the snow. I just purchased rear chains and 5-rib V61s from Miller Tire. I'm looking forward to getting to know this board better. I have been on many other forums for my other hobbies and I am always blown away by the wealth of knowledge on each board. Best regards, Chris

953 nut 60,080 #10 Posted December 21, 2015 I don't know if we have any other members from Long Island. Had relatives who lived in Shirley several years ago and I remember how quiet and peaceful it was out there. If you need information or advice about your just ask away.

cstein2568 13 #13 Posted January 20, 2016 Thanks guys, Okay, I should be able to add a few pictures now... Here's a pic I have handy at the moment. I had just put the chains on for a test fit. They have since been adjusted properly. I am also guilty of the WH bug as I couldn't pass up a 520-H that was available locally. The 520 was from the original owner and has sat for the past few years due to a charging issue. So, now I have to decide to make one really nice tractor between the two and have a spare motor or the more likely scenario of bringing the 520 back to life. I like the stance of the 520 a bit better, and all of the wiring seems original which is pleasing because I've been ironing out the wiring issues with the 416 since I purchased it. Decisions decisions... Chris On 12/21/2015 at 6:01 PM, 953 nut said: I don't know if we have any other members from Long Island. Thanks 953, I also have family in Shirley. I live about 30 minutes east out on the North Fork. It's a great community with farming roots. There seems to be a big Cub following here, but there was a local WH dealer years back so every now and then one pops up.
WHX?? 51,781 #14 Posted January 20, 2016 Start a thread in electrical and we'll see if we can help with those charging issues on the 520. Lots of 520 pro's here. It may be something as simple as a voltage reg. If your having problems posting Chris try this http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/store/category/1-redsquare-support/ and you won't have any more. We do like our pics here!
Pullstart 66,834 #16 Posted January 21, 2016 Sure like those rear tires! Good luck with the 520 endeavors!
WHX?? 51,781 #17 Posted January 21, 2016 Thought they were ag's but closer inspection looks like they are R-4's. Sure don't see many tires like that on a Horse....nice
