mikeeyre74 289 #1 Posted December 21, 2015 If I'm not using the angled deck that originally came only new-to-me 310-8, that I believe is for the bagger system.. can I switch to the larger wheels and tires like the ones that are currently on my B-80 (8" I think?) and still use the old straight cut 36" deck I've been using on my B-80 fit? slammer302 2,156 #2 Posted December 21, 2015 the smaller tires were for the 37" deck 36" to 48" will work with the 8" wheels but on a b-80 i would stick with the 36" deck they are under powered for bigger decks but they will fit i've tried 42" deck on a B-80 but soon as i got in deep grass of any kind it would not spin it fast enough my dad tried a 48 deck on a 308-8 and had the same results Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
953 nut 60,057 #3 Posted December 21, 2015 I have used the 8" front tires on my 312-8 with a 42" deck and had plenty of clearance. The only thing I had to do is adjust the rod going to the rear wheels so it would be level. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
