fritz 1 #1 Posted December 2, 2008 what is the diffrence between chargers, commandos, raiders, and elcros? i think i know the diffrence between the a's b's c's and d's? but what about the others?/ my best freind has a charger 12 and i have a raider 8? i know the horsepower and the 8 speed and hydrostat? but what is the main diffrence? kpinnc 14,632 #2 Posted December 2, 2008 Commandos and Raiders were all manual tranny machines. Commandos were 8 (I think) hp or less, and generally smaller in the wheel department. Raiders went up to 12 hp and were all 8 speeds (again, I think). All Chargers and Electros were hydrostatics. The Electro models had hydraulic lift and electric PTO clutches. Broncos were just like the Electro, but with 14hp engines. Commandos, Raiders, Chargers, and Electros were produced from 1968-1972. Broncos were produced in 1971 and 1972 only.
