pacer 3,177 #2 Posted December 3, 2015 Those rods are scarce as the proverbial "hens teeth" -- along with most everything else needed for a rebuild I recently rebuilt my 532 and one rod was questionable so I started prowling the web, checking ebay twice a day. After about 2 wks I found a used one off a 432 and pounced on it. While waiting for it and still searching for head gaskets, another rod off a 583 popped up and I promptly jumped on it ( I also have three 432's that someday may need a rod!!) The rod that was questionable would probably be OK and if I hadnt found a replacement I would have gone back with it. So, about all you can do is prowl ebay and hope some one will list one...
