I was horsin' around with my kids last summer cruising down the front hill in neutral for some good speed, then back up the side hill to do it again in 3rd. Some how, the right front spindle cotter pin waited to shear off until I was turning the corner under power to go back up the hill. When the wheel fell off and it stuck the spindle in the mud I learned my lesson that it could have happened in neutral.
