kingnothing71us 108 #1 Posted November 8, 2015 Can anyone tell me where I can buy the bushings that the tension bar rides on for a 36" rear discharge deck? If not, would anyone know the dimensions so I can make a pair? Thanks

Ed Kennell 42,114 #4 Posted November 8, 2015 Sorry Mike, those are shoulder bushings...the 42 and 48" decks have flat nylon guide bars on the outside of the pulley bar. I have two 36" decks, but it's been awhile since I had one apart.Looks like the ID has to fit the item 11 and 16 bolt and the OD must be a sliding fit in the bar slots. Ace hardware has bronze shoulder bushings. If you can find the correct ID and OD,You can probably adjust the flange and overall height to make it work. kingnothing71us 108 #5 Posted November 8, 2015 Yeah, I checked Ace a little while ago, they don't have the correct size. I asked my friend if he can machine me a cpl. but I'd rather buy them than take up his time. I'm also going to call Hawns tomorrow and ask if they can order them for me. I appreciate you offering the help.
