jbird52 19 #1 Posted November 1, 2015 (edited) I have an opportunity to purchase snow blade Model 11296. Is this by any chance the correct blade for a 1054 Wheel Horse????The seller claims the 11296 is the model number, but appears to be serial number according to his picture. Thank You,Jay GrahamSt.Clairsville,OH Edited November 1, 2015 by jbird52 add pictures
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,513 #2 Posted November 1, 2015 (edited) The 11296 looks like a 1961 serial number.Have seen a BD-4261 (42" in 1961) blade with serial 12121. This is for mid-engine tractors tractors.http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/files/file/1579-blade-dozer-42in-1961-bd-4261-om-ipl-snpdf/The BD-4271 was the first to fit a short frame tractor (42" blade for the 7hp model 701) - Most likely the blade in question but the photo too small to tell.http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/files/file/1639-blade-dozer-42in-1961-bd-4271-om-ipl-snpdf/The 1054 was considered a large frame tractor at the time. The 1054 used blade models BD-543 (54" introduced in 1963), BD-546 (54" introduced in 1966) and 6-1121http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/files/file/1914-blade-dozer-54in-1963-1965-bd-543-om-ipl-snpdf/http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/files/file/1484-blade-dozer-54in-1966-67-bd-546-om-ipl-snpdf/http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/files/file/521-blade-dozer-54in-1968-6-1121-om-ipl-snpdf/Garry Edited November 1, 2015 by gwest_ca
