boovuc 1,090 #4 Posted October 27, 2015 I have them on my snowblower machine and I love them. I have plenty of traction on my paved driveway and they save it from being torn up. I don't know how well they would hold up on stones if you have both paved and stone driveways to deal with. I just know I was pleasantly surprised by the way they worked. lynnmor 7,796 #5 Posted October 27, 2015 I have the rubber chains and find that they GO nearly as well as steel chains. However they don't STOP nearly as well on my sloped asphalt driveway. Under power, the tire will keep presenting another edge for a bite, when braking the tire locks and you might find it will slide. There is no increase in traction side to side, and may even be worse than no chains. I have taken a few uncontrolled spins with these things and would never use them where there is danger of an overturn. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
