Snowblower bearing on new to me 42" single stage

Recommended Posts

Got another 520H  a 1988 with tiller, mower deck and blower yesterday. They all need some attention....... My first project was to repair the unraveled cable for the discharge shoot. Gosh that was fun to figure out.......(cough...) Kind of like installing a main spring in a clock...

It is model # 86 - 42ST01 single stage. Toro dealer said "Boy their proud of that....$69 just for the bearing."  I took a step back away from the computor screen where the exploded parts view was shown and grabbed my chest..... I said I would let him know monday.... Also wants between $35 and $40 for the belt from engine pulley to blower..

Here is my question. Do we have a less expensive  place to get parts here on RedSquare? It is the bearing next to the gear that runs the chain and its been out for a long time. I got the roll pin removed and hit it with the air hammer and walked the bearing off the shaft after removing the outer flange so I am now ready to reassemble after I clean rusty shaft.   Yes I got lucky....

Try NAPA.  Napa bearings are SKF so if you can find a cross reference for the Toro bearing you can look up the cost on NAPA online.
