Pull start

Recommended Posts

can not find a pull start for my K91 kolher so was hoping there is a small engine that will fit under the hood without having to cut it to get a different engine in. The engine I have now just needs a pull start to run but hard to find. Any help much appreciated .image.thumb.jpeg.0407ad0bda0ff33e7381b4b

A Tecky recoil should work. 897109581avatar.thumb.gif.ead7a58761dfbe

yep the tecumseh recoils work just fine and are easy to find just have to make sure you get the right length cup. And if you have no luck you can always stick to just a rope....a lot cheaper than a recoil just not always the most fun to use. :)

A rope is not bad if they start first pull.

Dad used to make pull start ropes for the David Bradley with a piece of old broom handle ,  reading this thread reminded me of it tied and swinging on the handle bar .....LOL

The RJ I had many years ago had a Tecumseh recoil starter on it.  Worked just fine.
