Aldon 4,828 #1 Posted October 2, 2015 i am thinking about using the space that is normally filled with Amp Meter for something else on my GT14 I am redoing. Not sure I see much value in an Amp Meter.Am I incorrect in my assumption? If not, any of you have suggestion for that space? Reasons?

Aldon 4,828 #3 Posted October 2, 2015 I have a spare Plastic GT14 gas Tank. As this project will not complete until Spring anyway as I dont think I will get the surface and body panels painted before weather turns here in NY, I am thinking that I will experiment with adding a fuel sender to the tank and adding a back-lit Fuel Gage in the spot that the Amp Meter resided. I am very surprised at the lack of such an animal as far as whats already available. An unnecessary luxury but one I would prefer over the bouncing amp meter. 953 nut 59,995 #4 Posted October 2, 2015 Good luck finding a fuel tank sending unit that will fit the tall oddly shaped tank on the GT-14. If you find one I would love to see this posted. I feel that a Volt meter tells you a lot more than an amp meter.
