Bow_Extreme 550 #1 Posted September 25, 2015 Some of you will recognize this right away. Decided to make a minor upgrade on my 520H. It was a simple project. I had the Fab shop bend it up and I put in the contours and notches. It's not 100% perfect but close enough for me.

Bow_Extreme 550 #6 Posted September 25, 2015 Nice. Bet you could sell a few on Red Square Probably, but it was just for fun and to get rid of the constantly rusting heat shields. Your looking at $40 for the stainless material and forming and another 30-45 minutes in tracing and adding the slots and contours. The bits for the grinder are carbide burrs at about $25 a piece but they would last a long while. Anyone here with a fab shop in their area and a grinder at home could do this.
