cruisnblue48 856 #1 Posted September 25, 2015 (edited) ... the early Fall weather, that is... nearly perfect weather for late September. I could take this all year long. We have not too much rain here in south, central PA recently, but the lawn is still green and growing like crazy. So, after mowing the lawn yesterday, I let my three work horses out to graze. My1995 model 314-8, 1967 model 857, and 1990 520-H are so happy, they went into doing a little rodeo dance as the sun was setting. Ed Kennell 41,974 #4 Posted September 25, 2015 Lookin Good Dave. The s and the lawn. Mine has a lot of that wiry fall grass. I had to cut it really close for the deck to pull it up, then when I used the sweeper to clean it up, It wound up in the sweeper like string.BTW, Will you be pulling at Windsor next week ? JackC 617 #7 Posted September 26, 2015 Hats off to the folks at Wheel Horse for creating all the fine machines we love. That 857 looks right at home with its younger brothers. Looks like it has plenty of muscle under its hood with that neat belt cover.

Ed, I am planning to do the competition pull at the Windsor Steam-o-rama next weekend. A lot depends on the weather. The 10-day forecast looks iffy, so we'll see. I should have my older round hoods there to show also.
