chorusguy 227 #1 Posted September 24, 2015 So. I have a cultivator and a plow on a c160 auto. When I mount them I am not getting enough travel with the lift. If I adjust the cobbled together linkage high enough to travel with out dragging the implement in the dirt it doesn't lower enough into the ground. First picture is of lift all the way up. Second is with lift all the way down. Others are of linkage.
953 nut 60,270 #2 Posted September 24, 2015 Take a look at the attachment point on your Rocker Shaft under the tractor, you may be attached to the shorter throw linkage hole. If so, move the cable down a hole.
chorusguy 227 #3 Posted September 24, 2015 Thanks. I checked its in the lowest hole. I did notice on another tractor there is an "h" shaped bracket attached to the rocker that gives it a longer reach. Don't knowbwhtbits called but looks like the rear end cable attachment in my third picture You replied to a duplicate post. The first one has pictures
Pullstart 67,015 #4 Posted September 24, 2015 Since there are replies, I'll go to this one. looking at the pictures, are the cables and chains hooked up to the rock shaft backwards by chance? It looks like one arm is shorter than the other and they might be backwards. But I have zero experience with those types of lift, so it could be right. chorusguy 227 #5 Posted September 24, 2015 Good question I will check my other c160 to make sure that they are set up identically

chorusguy 227 #8 Posted September 25, 2015 Thanks. What I think I need is a description of the clevis assembly (ie cable connections and length of cable). And how to set that up.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,512 #9 Posted September 25, 2015 This one looks more like what you have. Sorry about the poor copyhttp://www.wheelhorseforum.com/files/file/1441-hitch-rear-clevis-1977-implement-8-5513-om-iplpdf/Garry
