855 fan 0 #1 Posted September 22, 2015 Hey guys, I am new here and have decided to get serious about collecting. Currently I have a 1965/855. This little 8hp tractor has surprised me over the last 5 years doing a number of small jobs around my yard. I was offered an 875 for $200 and couldn't pass it up. It has no engine but I know the guy who had it. He pulled the engine to put on his log splitter. I have a spare k181 off of an old parts 855 I had laying around. After looking at the pictures of an 875 it appears to have a bigger pulley on the engine then the 855 engine has on it. So my question is, what size is the pulley or do i even need a bigger pulley? Or could i get by with the smaller 855 pulley? Thanks and God bless
stevasaurus 23,292 #2 Posted September 22, 2015 (edited) My 876 has a 3 1/2" engine pulley (measured outside diameter), yours should be the same. The outer pulley is 2 1/2" for the mower deck. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,510 #3 Posted September 22, 2015 From my notes this sounds correct 3.500" OD x 1.000" shaft Pulley 7362 replaces original 6122 pulley to add PT-7 pto PT-7 manual states all 8hp hydro models 875 876 877 and 1075 require 7362 pulley to mount PT-7. Used with 6109 transmission pulley. The 1075 is one of the early models that used a 1" crankshaft. Later it was 1-1/8". Garry
