Ed Kennell 41,974 #26 Posted September 14, 2015 Looks good Ed! Nonstop rain this weekend in Buffalo ruined my usual weekend golf plans so I also started messing with a plow I picked up this spring. I wanted to get one for the days the wind is blowing fierce and/or we get a smaller snowfall. I had to snowblow last year on a lot of windy days and the way my yard is in some spots I can only go 1 direction so I ate more snow then anyone would like. I know a cab would help maybe one day.My plow needs some work though before its get mounted to my 312 with Matts foot pedal kit. I picked it up in a package deal and not sure what was done to it but almost every part of the thing was bent, the plow itself was even bent up pretty bad. Luckily I was able to straighten it on the H frame press at work and everything else straightened out pretty easily with just hand tools. I still have some parts to make and going give it a paintjob before it makes it on but that shouldn't take to long and ill post some pictures after its all mounted up.I got all the angle linkage working again and once again surprised by the simple effectiveness of yet another wheel horse attachment. Im looking forward to messing around with it and pushing stuff around. I also saw something a few weeks ago that looked like a cool idea I might try here's the link http://www.mytractorforum.com/119-home-made-tractors-implements-accessories/45646-my-e-bucket-economy-bucket.html now its no FEL or even a Johnny Bucket but its looks pretty cool and certainly would be much cheaper!! Sounds like you definitely need a cab Paul. I like that homemade bucket. Easy to make, mount and remove with no harm to the dozer blade. With the addition of a stop to set the opening, I also see a nice stone spreader for the stone road.
Ed Kennell 41,974 #27 Posted September 14, 2015 "2015- The Lost Summer" Where did Summer go? I had just taken the cab and snowthrower off the 523Dxi when I broke my ankle. Now it will be time to put them back on!!! Last week I went to use the C-105 to move my trailer (the bane of this Summer!) and found the mice had chewed away at the fuel line. Grrrrr! Luckily my one neighbor has a lawn service so he mowed my grass this season (and will probably continue the rest of the season) for a very reasonable rate. For the first time since the accident, today I was able to get out and knock down some weeds that have encroached the fringe of the property. Luckily the weeds die off with the cold. Another month and it will be Leaf Patrol. Time to warm-up the 518xi and the CR. Hey John, maybe Craig could scrape up your leaves while he is down there with the Grater cleaning up Bob's snow. Anyway, Good to hear you are able to get a little seat time even if you have to chase out the rodents. Keep the faith my friend....The 2016 Big Show is coming.

squonk 43,819 #30 Posted September 20, 2015 Craig, you should have enough tractors now to cover your driveway so you won't have to plow it!

I don't know how much you could lift or move with this home made bucket but it is a great idea. I printed the information to go in my pile of things I would like to do.
