Retired Wrencher 4,879 #29 Posted September 13, 2015 Pretty much, all back together now... just got a no spark issue to deal with...but I think it's because of the mouse hotel all packed in behind the engine tins. Just had to call the game because of rain. Wow Craig Less than 12 hours and she is ready to work. The spark is easy fix parts are cheap Just saying from one Tecky person to another. But I found out that the notch on the cheap coils are junk = the notch on top of the coil is not high enough to hold the clip in place. that is what happen when I bought one. so went to a oem part. Popped the blower housing off today...see if I could get away easy, just clean out the nest.found the back of it was chock full of nest, to include one dried up mouse. Decided to romove the flywheel...only to find one of the magnets missing too. Going to take the block to work with me tomorrow, give it a steam bath. Never had to venture this far into one to get it running... is the missing magnet is going to be issue...run again, with one of 'em missing? 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
953 nut 51,725 #31 Posted September 14, 2015 Had a mower years back that had no spark after a long winter storage, turned out the points gap was open when stored and a bug nest under the flywheel held them open.
