semperfi8185 56 #26 Posted September 20, 2015 (edited) Went to the Marshfield MO Meet and Greet and met a great bunch of folks one of which brought a 42 in SD deck. I bought it and between the bad deck that I got with the tractor I now have a working mower deck. The one I got Saturday has newish blades, a usable deck and good spindles and pulleys. The deck that I got with the tractor has a better housing at least once I get the hold and rust spots taken care of then I'll move everything to that deck. semperfi8185 56 #28 Posted September 21, 2015 Here is a picture of the deck installed. Yard is so dry that it's gone a little dormant but I mowed anyway. I did figure why the deck isn't lifting and lowering properly. The front hanger brackets have an angle on them so the foot boards clear and they were originally installed reversed so that the angles point towards the front of the tractor.
