Kurt-NEPA 755 #1 Posted September 9, 2015 My turn at a Wheel Horse in the mirror story. Sorry its not a mirror picture, all I could get that way was tailgate and a hint of red peaking out.A big thank you to a great member of this forum. He was willing to part with his beautiful 1995 520H. Low hours and it even has Matt's foot pedal.I am one really happy guy this morning. Now its time to retire my well worn out 1993 520H.Kurt

WNYPCRepair 1,923 #4 Posted September 9, 2015 Nice 520. Is your old one still running? I am thinking about building a 520-h, or possible a 520-8, and need a good rolling chassis

JERSEYHAWG / Glenn 4,498 #6 Posted September 9, 2015 Boy o boy, that is one sweet ride. Looks like mine. Best of luck, your forgiven on the mirror shot. I see some of the fellas are picking on the bones of your old ones all ready. Glenn
Kurt-NEPA 755 #7 Posted September 9, 2015 Boy o boy, that is one sweet ride. Looks like mine.Glenn Sure does look like yours Glenn. I just hooked up the deck and did a little mowing. This thing is a dream, but now I got it dirty.Funny thing on the ride home yesterday, the seat kept bouncing all over the place. A bungee cord did no good. So I did the one thing I did not want to do on a 95 degree humid day in a parking lot. I took the seat off and put it in the truck. I probably saved it. My truck's A/C sure did feel good after that.Kurt Nice 520. Is your old one still running? I am thinking about building a 520-h, or possible a 520-8, and need a good rolling chassis I depends on what you are looking for WNY. My old one runs, but the engine has over 2700 hrs on it and has a tick in it. But it runs like a beast. The chassis is decent. Left rear hub is loose. The steering has some play in it and the bearing under the steering wheel is loose. The hydro is strong. The tin is sadly in need of some TLC, but it not dented up and rusted out.Any interest? I can be reasonable.Kurt

My clothes were completely soaked It may be a pipe dream. Depends on finding a cheap chassis. I have a brand new Onan 20HP, and a 310 that is in good running condition. I have the 310-8 up for sale, but was thinking a 520-8 might be interesting. I was thinking about just putting the Onan on the 310-8, but thought it might be easier to pop it in a dead 520-H. Maybe even swap rear ends with the 310-8, have a 310-H. I don't even know if it would work, but I'm sure someone here has done it, or something similar. I need something to occupy my time this winter.

You cant beat new. glenn Oh, btw, what do you mean you had another shower? Didnt you say the other day you had your "monthly scrub down"! Lol

I agree, the 520 skeleton is best, but I have to figure in cost of the skeleton, travel to get it, etc. I would have to find a cheap skeleton for it to be worth it. Otherwise I would have a $2,500 (or more) 520. I splurged, two showers this month.

The other issues I could deal with.
