Theroundhousernr 590 #1 Posted September 7, 2015 All the family left ,we got done eating good food on Labor Day. Love me some clams and shrimp. Wondered how I can finish off this great day and I decided to put Terry's decals on the 520H. The decals couldn't of went on better.A + service and great to deal with Terry at the wheel horse show. I'm not sure how many people have used these decals on a worker. I am sure they will hold up great. The old decals were pretty scratched up and peeling off in many places. I cleaned the whole hood with oil eater. Then used rubbing alcohol to get all the oils off. Last gave the hood a good rub down with McGuire's scratch remover 2.0. I highly recommend this stuff. Have not posted in awhile but have plenty of projects on the burner to post about soon. I'll let the before and after shots to the rest of the talking.

Theroundhousernr 590 #5 Posted September 7, 2015 Here's another one for ya. It really looks nice. Wife wants to know if you do windows? I have been known to do windows...... No shame! Awesome... just reshoot the black, and it'll look brand new. I have thought about reshooting the black. This horse was well taken care of its whole life. There is a few quarter sized spots on the fender where the paint has peeled also. I really just like a that it has never been touched so I think for now it will stay as is. I mow with it every week and just keep it clean and maintaned. It is not a show room tractor but you would be hard pressed to find one in this shape also. The decals surely boosted its appeal though ! It is one of my favorites.
AMC RULES 37,196 #6 Posted September 8, 2015 Curious, how many hours on it's clock?
Theroundhousernr 590 #7 Posted September 8, 2015 Somewhere around 1156 last time I checked. Runs well add the deck is solid and mows nice. Few shots of after I got it back together from fixing oil leaks. This pic from last fall.

Theroundhousernr 590 #11 Posted September 8, 2015 (edited) The name of the product is called oil eater. My buddy turned me on to it. Puts mean green to shame. I had grease on the siding of my house from the previous owners proprane grill. Nothing would get it off. Tryed this oil eater and the stuff melted off. I use it on all my tractors that I get and makes degreasing a breeze. Plus its biodegradable and does not hurt the enviroment or grass. If it sounds like I am talking the product up, I am. Truly works great. Maybe tomorrow I will shoot some pictures with the good camera and the new decals on. Theroundhousernr 590 #12 Posted September 15, 2015 As promised, first time it's been out since its new hood makeover. It's my second mowing season with this 520h and sure makes a nice cut. Not bad for a worker. I just blow it off after every mow and wash/wax it every now and then. Of course grease and oil changes to. The P.O. really took care of it. Don't understand how they end up in such rough shape. They weren't exactly cheap throw aways. Oh well, this one is safe.
