I would like to install some led lights on my C 161 b&s twin, The e-bay site I was going to purchase them from says they are 18 watt, I don't know how much power, in watts or amps the b&s 16 hp twins stator supplies. Could someone give me some guidence.  thanks in advance  Skip

The led lamps will be 1.5 amps each. I don't know what your stator would be. If you have incadecent lamps now you will be OK.

LEDs use way less power than incandescent, you should be fine.

We recently had a power outage here, but still had some voltage still. None of the incandescent lights in my house would work, but the LED bulbs lit right up. I think someone's generator was backfeeding through the power lines, but I'm not sure.

Tell us how they work out. I also have a C161 Briggs twin. They don't get a lot of love but if you have one it's likely one of your favored tractors.
