1970 Electro 12 Implement Lift lever

Recommended Posts

Good evening,
I have a 1970 (I think) Wheelhorse Electro 12 (1 7255) that I took apart many moons ago so I could clean it up and repaint it.  I've been reassembling it and one thing I didn't get a picture of what the spring assembly in the lift lever.  I know it must be simple, but I can't for the life of me figure out how the spring goes in such that it can't fly out easily.  I've looked up diagrams and I can find the tractor, engine, and tranny but none of those include the lift lever parts so I'm not even sure which parts I should be looking for.  Does anyone happen to have one off the tractor they could snap a picture of or maybe even a diagram to get me started? Thanks!
Mike

I think it is all there. The spring goes over the end on the rod and pushes against the web. Once installed back in the tractor the side of the hood stand should keep it there. Have seen the springs collapse on one side so they look bent but a replacement should be easily found.

Thanks Garry! I wondered if the side of the tractor was what kept the spring in, but it seemed so half-assed compared to the rest of the tractor.  :)  I still have the spring so I guess I can check off the lift lever.  On to the seat!

Thanks for the welcome, KC9KAS!  73's!
