No oil related failures as of now--and they offer a very wide/selection comparison to other brands. They seem like the 'little engine that could'==just keep on-keeping on....I understand the GOLD line is still made right here in USA (Gastonia, N.C.) The cheaper version of NAPA filters (select) is out-sourced over seas, I believe.
