squonk 43,714 #3 Posted August 20, 2015 (edited) That ugly cart is awesome. A friend of mine had a green one like that for sale at our local steam show. He wanted 60 bucks for it and I offered $25. He said he had that much in 1 tire. Yeah right, He pulled it out of the dump. He aint foolin me! He ended up loading it back in his truck! They are nice to haul goodies in so you don't bang up your nice cart! Edited August 20, 2015 by squonk

Ed Kennell 41,776 #6 Posted August 20, 2015 Ugly Yellow Cart - Priceless! Ya think a couple cans of Regal Red will get it in the Big Show next year?
SPINJIM 1,986 #7 Posted August 20, 2015 Thanks Ed for letting me know what they went for. I was going to go, and now I'm glad I didn't.. The C-101 looked interesting, but looked like it had some rough edges (rust) under the spray paint. It was obviously freshly sprayed for the auction. I figured the puller would go high. I have so many projects now, I will only buy another if it goes real cheap. Jim

Pullstart 66,600 #12 Posted August 21, 2015 So there were a couple horses at a local online/public auction yesterday, one especially was a lawn ranger with big wide rear turfs and no engine and no attachments, it went for $81. That's gonna make a nice toy for someone! The other was a clean 701 with a front blade and it went for $900. Thing is, it was listed on CL for less not to long ago I believe. It's amazing how some things get inflated at auction and some others never find the air.
