gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,512 #2 Posted August 12, 2015 (edited) Here Is the blade you tractor calls forhttp://www.wheelhorseforum.com/files/file/2477-blade-dozer-42in-1983-1986-06-42bb02-snow-om-tiplpdf/Here is the one you are looking athttp://www.wheelhorseforum.com/files/file/2867-blade-dozer-42in-1980-1982-06-42bb01-snow-tipl-snpdf/I'm thinking you can make it work but compare the ipl's to see what the difference is.The bottom line on the ID plate looks like 017x. That is the Julian build date 17x day of 1980 if I am reading it correctly make it a 1980 model.16793 is the serial number.Garry Edited August 12, 2015 by gwest_ca

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,512 #4 Posted August 12, 2015 (edited) I would compare the differences. It may only be a different bearing or pulley size and be nothing to hinder the installation or performance. They were constantly making subtle changes to improve performance.A new safety decal would generate a new model number.Garry Edited August 12, 2015 by gwest_ca
kingnothing71us 108 #5 Posted October 9, 2015 Hey Jay, did you ever find the right blade? I know of a 200 series blade, it's the one Gary nentioned. I live in Dover, Pa. I don't know how far you're willing to go. Let me know and maybe I can pick it up for you.
