Horse46 519 #1 Posted August 5, 2015 Anyone used tyres like this on grass, I fancy them better than the turf saver style, just wondering if they if there are any drawbacks with them?http://www.mytyres.co.uk/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?dsco=110&cart_id=40576982.110.31352&Breite=16x6.50&Quer=&Felge=8&Speed=&kategorie=&Marke=&ranzahl=2&S_Z=&tyre_for=&x_tyre_for=&m_s=4&rsmFahrzeugart=AS&search_tool=standard&details=Ordern&typ=R-185260Sorry can't figure how to hyperlink this? PaulC 342 #2 Posted August 5, 2015 I put a set of inexpensive 5 rib tires on my 312 that look similar to this but mine are more flat across then rounded like the photo looks. They worked much better steering in snow then my turfs but they work just ok for grass. I have found that when you go to make a turn moving at a decent speed they tend to slide or push a bit. its nothing that hurts the grass or makes any marks just something ive noticed with using them. My experience they are no better for grass and actually slightly worse so it might not be worth your expense, but considering you are looking at them for 8 inch rims and if they are indeed more rounded like the photo this might not happen to you at all. Another thing is they do look better then turfs in my opinion. Hope this helps
