tim.bergfeld 0 #1 Posted August 5, 2015 I have not hooked up a wheel horse rear axle bracket and a tiller in about oh say 20 years. I have had three wheel horses and tillers and snow plows but they were already set up. So now I need some pics of how to mount the rear axle bracket. Also of how to hook up the tiller. I can't believe no one has made a you tube video yet. The rear axle bracket lever hits the little pulley bracket on the tiller and it won't lock. Sorry so long winded thanks in advance for any help. doc724 925 #3 Posted August 5, 2015 Tim,you have to position the little lever on the right side (when facing the rear of the tractor) to a position that just lets you get the support bar of the tiller into the tachamatic hitch. The position is not "full open" with the lever straight up, more like 45 degrees from vertical. Then, and only then can you slip it into the hitch and finally move the lever down. I think I read this in the WH manual. Suggest you download one from the manuals section on RS. I also keep my tiller on a dolly and like Slammer, I use a 2x4 to raise up the back and slip it under the hitch. Do not despair, first time I put my tiller on it took 90 minutes. I got it all hooked up except the tensioning spring on the mid mount need to find the manual here so I can find out what oil to use in it.
