doc724 925 #3 Posted August 1, 2015 Those switches are available but they are really expensive. Last I looked it was $64 in the USA. I researched and I think either Eaton or Cutler Hammers is the manufacturer, but they are special order only. I picked up a used one from Joe's Outdoor Power (in the US) for about $14. As Garry said, the best bet is a used one from another UK member

doc724 925 #6 Posted August 4, 2015 The PTO interlock switch for my C141-8 is 104680. They are $56.60 (US) from Jack's Small Engine in the US. As you already know, they are not easy to install and my experience is that you have to remove the thin blade actuator which rides on the PTO cam, then install the switch and then re-pop rivet the actuator in place. I got mine in OK, but I do not have the switch positioned properly (maybe not enough preload on the button actuator) so effectively the switch does not work as a safety cutout when the PTO is engaged and you get off the seat. morphemus 0 #7 Posted August 9, 2015 Hi doc724 does this mean the tractor still runs without the switch being there? only mine is in bits being built so has yet can't test it going to put up some photos soon just need this switch and some rear wheels as far as i can see so far thats missing terry
doc724 925 #8 Posted August 9, 2015 I have to leave to go cycling soon, so not much time to compose this. The tractor runs with the switch in place, but mine will not shutdown the engine with the PTO engaged. However, i think that you can jumper around the switch. Download an electrical service manual from RS to get the wiring diagrams. Then you can see how the switch is wired jumper accordingly. Just remember, once you bypass it, the engine will not shutdown when the PTO is engaged
