84specialed 16 #1 Posted July 26, 2015 Got this one yesterday, was told it's a 72 model. It's a lean ranger electric with a 5 horse? Tecumseh. Engine is free, won't start and was told it has no spark, haven't had time to mess with it much yet. I was thinking of a repower on this one. What do yall think? MikesRJ 558 #4 Posted July 26, 2015 (edited) '71 was the last year of the Lawn Ranger. Check the model number, if '71 then is would be 2-0200 or 2-0210. Looks to me to be a '71. Edited July 26, 2015 by MikesRJ

Don1977 605 #6 Posted July 28, 2015 It's needs the carburetor cleaned. I was given a Troy-bilt tiller and told it did have fire. Cleaned the carburetor and it fired up. Some on here have bought replacement carbs. on E-Bay they say works good.
