Finally got a push blade. But I have questions. 6-2132

First thing.  I had a really hard time getting it mounted.  So any tips for that would be great.  Second I have both solid links the straight one with the offsets and the curved one.  The diagram shows a straight one so that is the one I used.  Is that correct?  Third what do you do with the deck lift bar?  Fourth I mounted the solid lift in the second hole if the rocker and in the slot on the a frame.  Correct?  And finally when u am lowering the blade about mid way the tractor twists slightly so something is binding.  I think it us the mower lift arm but am by myself so i can't see.  And now really finally the motion control arm is binding slightly on something.  Any suggestions?

OK.  Thanks for your replies.  I noticed in the photos there is a chain mounted through a trunion and then a smaller solid link.  Both ate mounted to the mower deck lift.   That would work.  I don't have the chain but do have the smaller solid bar.  However using a chain doesn't provide any down force correct?

Correct, no down force with a chain. I always hooked mine up directly to the lift rock shaft so I could get the down force.

Down force is good if you have a paved driveway, but if you don't your driveway will end up in your yard! :) I use a chain from the trunion all the way to the plow with no solid link. I have a stone drive and use the dial a height adjustment to hold the plow about an inch above the surface to keep the stone movement at a minimum.

Very true Mike. I would hold it up as well when doing my 800' stone drive. The downforce worked well on the concrete areas and also when I was moving dirt or stones.
