ronhatch 406 #1 Posted July 16, 2015 (edited) I just bought a C-101 with a very well used 36" RD deck. I want to replace it with a good 42" SD deck. What models will fit my C-101? Can I reuse all the mounting hardware that is now on the RD 36" unit? The spindles look good. Can I reuse them on a SD 42" deck if needed? Most any 42 side or rear deck from 1973 fwd will work with the Tach-o-Matic system of the C-101 and SOME of the same hardware is on the 36 deck...but not all the same (usually).
