D-250 Manual

Recommended Posts

Tankman

In a couple of weeks I'm expecting a delivery, a D-250. PO purchased a Kubota zero turn but also has a
Kubota tractor. PO said too slow, needed something to mow quick. He's mowing a couple of acres.

Been looking thru the manuals section, perhaps in the wrong place, Want to read up while
I'm twitching awaiting delivery. Hard sleeping, dreamin' bout my new find.

I did visit and pet (hug) the Horse. Renault engine ran fine but I didn't drive it yet! Stored in an old bank barn, covered.
A jump start, Stallion purred. D-250 only has a SD deck, large.

Dumb as I am, or excited 'bout this Horse, I neglected (OK just forgot) to copy the ID tag. Duh.

I know the rules, will post pics after the delivery. Didn't take pictures on site, PO doesn't know what he has (had :)).

Probably the biggest problem with The D-250's is the steering. My steering box is shot - I'm either going to put in power steering or get a different gear box. It is a workhorse and I've yet to load it to the point where it slows the engine. Mine needs a lot of work but It will be worth it when I'm done. Congratulations on your find.

Give this site a try as well.  Remember, the D-250 was made by Gutbrod for Wheel Horse. I'm not sure which model Gutbrod it was though.

Visited Gutbrod's manual website. Read, "Mostly in German and/or French." Passed.  The Gutbrod was model 2500S.

Made a connection with stevebo (moderator), he's mailing me a manual.

At Camp Lejeune we learned, Squids are for kids. Does that include the Coast Guard?  :eusa-think:
