redhead 10 #1 Posted July 6, 2015 I have a c-141 WH, and need to level deck front to back. my question is does the wheels have to be on ground when you check distance on blade from front to back? also does front of deck suppose to 1/8in. higher than rear. The deck is a 42" side discharge, and is the rollers on front of deck suppose to run on ground all time with hyd. in down position. the model # of deck is 15-42sc01, which says it is a 1989 deck. Thanks for help in advance

bmsgaffer 2,053 #3 Posted July 7, 2015 The manual that Don linked you should give you a great start. The rear large wheels are supposed to always be rolling when the deck is lowered (and you level the deck in that position) , the front and rear small "anti-scalp" wheels are generally NOT touching the ground. They are there to prevent the deck from scalping when you come on a mound or other irregularity in the ground.
redhead 10 #4 Posted July 21, 2015 http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/files/file/2282-mower-rotary-42in-sd-1980-05-42ms01-om-810306r1pdf/ on this ref. manual you posted on my reply to level mower deck is stated that it is for model# 05-42ms01, 1980. The one I have is a 1989 model # 15-42sc01. Will you still level deck same way or will it be different. Let me know THANKS and have a wonderful day
