Not charging issue... My battery will not stay up..was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of a wiring diagram for this thing? Not sure if its my voltage regulator bad, altinator, or just a bad battery.

Here is a start

The same engine was used on the 1968 late production Charger 12 but yours should have an electric pto which is not shown.

As far as I can tell all wiring is correct...I don't have a multi-meter to test things...is there any other way that I could find the problem? I'm thinking it may just be the volt. Regulator but I dunno.

I really think a multimeter should be on your tool list.... A really cheap one less then $10 would be good enough.  In the mean time we are sort of grasping at straws.  How old is the battery???   More than 4 years I would suspect the battery...
A real scientific test.  Turn on the head lights when the engine is not running. observe how bright they are.  After starting ar the lights brighter??  f so the charging system is trying...

Edit...aditional tought...Is there an ammeter or voltmeter on the machine????

Yes there is an amp guage but dunno if its any good or not..inside is moisture and rust lol and it reads "0" at all times. And headlights won't come on until engine is running

Nvm my dumb mistake, switch has to be on, and they seem to be the same brightness, running or not.

If so then there is most likely a charging sysem problem.  However with out some sort of multimeter i have no idea on how to continue.  Normally you would check for AC voltage between the 2 white wires coming from the engine to the regulator. Should get 28volts or better.  If so the regulator.  if not the stator (alternator) under the flywheel.

one more thought.  Put a jumper wire across the terminals of the ammeter.  Do the lights get brighter.  A faulty ammeter could also be the problem

Won't that short something out? - and + ?

No ,   Current is supposed to flow through a functioning ammeter.Sounds like your may have failed. If you had a multimeter you could test your ammeter for continuity.  In the mean time jumping or bypassing it is about all you can do.

OK...jumper didn't seem to do anything...I tested it by the headlight trick...no difference

to go much further you are going to have to beg borow or steal a multi meter... or wet your fingers and hold on to some wires... we might be able to figure out from how high you jump when it starts what the voltages are :D

If I remember, I'll buy one while I'm out and about tomorrow....just sitting here right now waiting on clearcoat to dry....I sanded the gas tank all the way down to bare metal n clearcoated it...red paint wouldnt stay...the band I sanded, oriented, black paint, clear coat and on the inside of it, I glued some foam so maybe it wouldn't be so rough on the tank.
