GlenPettit 1,717 #2 Posted June 24, 2015 (edited) Rick:For appearance; --- if the rear tires are a little narrow looking, like 6 or 7" wide, then the 3.5x8; if you have wider lug tires on the rear, then the 4.0x8 would appear more in balance.Always safest to have the correct width tire on the metal wheel, . . . making a "higher-speed tight turn" is really the only issue here, the rubber tire popping off the wheel, but then 4.0x8 size is still 98% as safe.
