HorseHead1089 100 #1 Posted June 22, 2015 Hey there, My family orders 10 cubic yards of mulch every other year and I picked up a loader for a narrow frame cub cadet, so im looking for a cart/ trailer to go with it. ive had no luck on craigslist and haven't found much but what seems to be cheap tin can carts. so i am wondering what you guys are using. so far i have found these to be a good dealhttp://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200135074_200135074http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200338905_200338905So far i have found this to be good because it it is long and tallish to hold brush and seems like it can hold a lot of mulch so we can pull it around the property. they also have a double axle, but i doubt id need that for soil and mulch.

bmsgaffer 2,053 #3 Posted June 22, 2015 I would drive myself up a wall if my garden cart had a high tail on it. (I love to sweep out after a dump once its back level).I have the older version of this (http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200621557_200621557) that has the 16" turf tires on it and I love it. I only dislike all the bolts inside of it because it was not the welded steel version (like the one i linked IS welded). Catch my shovel every time! But I got it on craigslist for under $100... SO I cant complain. It has easily held more weight than my tractor should safely tow without any issues (other than a change of underwear!).
pacer 3,177 #4 Posted June 24, 2015 FWIW - Northern just put those 2 items on sale at $390 & $110.They look like nice pieces, but a bit pricey for my pocket book. This is what I use, a common 17cu ft trailer from the big box store with customized sides to get that extra hauling ability...
HorseHead1089 100 #5 Posted June 24, 2015 thats what i was thinking but im trying to find one long enough so my front end loader can comfortably fit the length of the trailer.
bmsgaffer 2,053 #6 Posted June 25, 2015 Do what pacer did except put the front panel on a 45 degree slant outwards (like this \_) and then you can use pretty much any craigslist cart you can find! The front walls slanted will direct any spillover from the FEL.
