Jgoodsell 19 #1 Posted June 16, 2015 I have a restored engine on an 1973 10 Automatic. The engine is a K241. I need to acquire a PTO clutch and assembly. Can anyone tell me what models I can swap the PTO clutch from? Years, Make/Model too if possible. If someone had one for sale I would be interested. I need everything but the lever and the hoop. First post, so if I posted this improperly please let me know.
KC9KAS 4,744 #2 Posted June 16, 2015 I'm sure someone on here has what you need, but you may have better luck posting in the Classified section under "WANTED".Oh and somewhere along the line, we will need pictures of your tractor(s)!!
Jgoodsell 19 #3 Posted June 17, 2015 Sorry, I was at work and didn't have time to upload any of the pictures. I was more looking to know what PTO clutch would fit it. If someone had it then great, but I really do just need to know what models I can be looking at.
boovuc 1,090 #4 Posted June 17, 2015 If the K241 came off a Wheelhorse tractor, it will have an inch and an eighth diameter shaft. This makes any PTO from the C-series all the way to the 300, 400 and 500 series Wheelhorse tractors fit.So there are a ton of models that will fit it and you won't have any trouble finding one. C series and the 300/400/500 series tractors were made from 1974 to the early 2000's. There were other models made as early as the late 60's that could fit.Post your need in the classifieds under "Wanted". You'll do better here than on Ebay I would think.PS.......if that K241 was NOT on a Wheelhorse tractor originally, you'll need to measure the crank shaft diameter to be sure it was inch and an eighth. Jgoodsell 19 #5 Posted June 17, 2015 This is off a Wheel Horse 10 Automatic. She was leaking oil from the head gasket bad, so a rebuild was needed. Had it bored outout .10 over, piston .10 over ordered, crank turned, and the whole thing got dipped so it could get repainted. Buddy of mine painted and did all the work and now she is ready to mow, snow blow, and plow. Thanks for the information. I did post last night on wanted and got a reply already. Great community here. I get the feeling I will be spending some time on here.

Jgoodsell 19 #8 Posted June 21, 2015 I was able to get a PTO clutch from a guy about an hour from me. Got everything together last night and the belt from my other mover was too short... :?( All stores were closed and we were very sad. Will be getting the correct belt today. I will post pictures tonight so you can all appreciate it!
