Nick 13 #1 Posted November 10, 2008 Soon as I started up to the unloading area at the scrapyard today there was a nice Lawn Ranger off to the side of the drive. The thing looked far to nice to be scraping it out but when I asked about it they said one of the yard workers would want it for parts. Thought I had my first scrapyard find. By the way sheet steel price is now at $40 a ton today. I was just cleaning the garage so no big deal but was nice when that 750 pound load would have brought in $75 instead of $14. Not sure how the cell phone camera got put on black and white.
pond195520032003 27 #2 Posted November 10, 2008 Nick, you should go back and talk to the person that wants it sometimes they will change their mind and go ahead and sell it along with the other one! especially if they think they made some extra cash pic looks good in black and white :omg:

saguaro 0 #4 Posted November 10, 2008 It makes me sick. I'm in serious need of parts and that would have taken care of them all. If no one has looked I have a wanted ad up.

Now Nick, I jus' know between you, your bother and your dad .... you must have some thing the scrap yard worker would want to trade for! The black and white photograph makes the Lawn Ranger look like it is in a World War II film documentary. Wild Bill in Richmond, Va.

Nick 13 #7 Posted November 11, 2008 The problem was the guy in the office didnt say a specific person owned it. He just said one of the workers would get it for parts. At least they didnt cut it up with the torch or snap it in half with the shears. Bill, How is this for an old lawn ranger documentary.
