PaulC 342 #2 Posted June 5, 2015 not sure what type of paint your referring too but when I redid my tractor I used Rustoleum Farm and Implement paint and when I thinned it to be sprayed through a gun I added Valspar enamel hardener. I added it to the rusty metal primer as well and was really happy with the results, dried in much less time and hardened up pretty nicely. I painted all the tins of a 300 series tractor in the 25-30$ range. Here is the link to the hardener I could not and still have not been able to find it anywhere locally. http://www.amazon.com/Valspar-4625-Enamel-Hardener-oz/dp/B000LNY1MY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1433523570&sr=8-1&keywords=valspar+hardener&pebp=1433523597893&perid=13FVX37QE4THMEREWPYWGood luck and don't be shy adding pictures of your fixed up freshly painted ride. 953 nut 59,914 #3 Posted June 5, 2015 I would try Sherwin Williams first, they have catalyzed hardeners for enamel, I think Tractor supply may still carry it also. You may want to send a PM to a member, HunterC6Vette, he is an expert when it comes to paint.
