Racinbob 11,976 #2 Posted May 26, 2015 They apparently had both in 1972. My grandsons 72 Commando has the front mule drive. There's parts missing on yours so maybe they just figured they would use that main piece because it incorporated the hood hinge and were still using up the older style setup.
