BPjunk 184 #1 Posted November 8, 2008 These pictures were taking during the Feild Days of the Past show in Richmond back in September. The first is where we used the 633 diesel BEAST to tow Bubba Pohligs factory Wheel Horse puller to the pullin' track. This tractor was towed because of it's rate of fuel consumption it would have burned the whole tank of methanol to get there! This tractor was built in 1988 from the factory Wheel Horse kit #31-PTX801 and is serial number 003. The cost of building the engine alone was over $5,000 back in 1988. Ya' ask your self .... Is it fast??? ............ I drove this tractor at the 9th Annual Wheel Horse Show and when I got on it was told to put it in third gear and hold on to the steering wheel tight because the tractor WILL DRIVE OUT FROM UNDERNETH YOU!!! BPjunk 184 #2 Posted November 8, 2008 Here is a picture of Bubba's factory puller going down the track. Back when this tractor was being pulled it had to compete against motorcycle engine powered tractors because nothing else could come close. A BIG THANKS to Glenn27 for taking these pictures!
