Need the dimensions for the RJ58 belt guard spacers

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,
I got the belt guard for my RJ58 but I need to make some spacers. If someone has their originals could you measure the length, and inner and outer diameters for me.

Thanks in advance!

They are 1 7/16 long inside is 3/8, 9/16 outside.

And just like that, two duplicate spacers of the originals (although mine are aluminum and i'm sure the originals were steel)!

ALUMINUM :angry-nono: That's not factory correct! :ychain:
(mine are 1/2 inch copper pipe)

I want to see what you can do with that pitted hood! It did look solid and pretty straight but obviously spent much of it's time outdoors.

I'll have to admit I didn't make them. One of the guys at work who is also a machinist part time made them for me at his shop. I didn't have the metal stock at home and asked him for a small piece of aluminum rod. He said just give me the dimensions and i'll make them for you. He works the same shift as me and dropped them off at my station today when he and his crew were passing by after training out on our fire boat today.
