decksetter 50 #1 Posted May 11, 2015 I can't be the only one that's done it. Anybody come up with a good solution for the tires hitting the back side of the deck in off camber situations?
boovuc 1,090 #2 Posted May 12, 2015 I don't think there is much of a solution for you. I know that my 48" SD deck would hit my 26/12/12 rears let alone the 60" deck.
decksetter 50 #3 Posted May 12, 2015 I don't think there is much of a solution for you. I know that my 48" SD deck would hit my 26/12/12 rears let alone the 60" deck. Well that's unfortunate. I was hoping the 48 would at least clear. I got my tires used and the wheels are extra wide, so they only hit once in a while. They're dang close all the time though. Pullstart 59,744 #4 Posted May 12, 2015 pictures of the interference? maybe if it's just at the edge of the tire you could get a racer's tire groover or use the old heat gun and chisel to shave a bit of rubber off that interference area..
decksetter 50 #5 Posted May 12, 2015 Tires were used when I got them and had been cut for pulling, so I think a new set would rub really bad. These clear when just sitting but when driving and the deck shifts around they rub.
