did a swap today with a neighbor around the corner from me I traded a 314H for a 416-8

Man, even steven. Ya can't beat that! I had a 314H, For whatever reason I just couldn't fall in love with it... Location of the DCL maybe??? :scratchead:

Nice 416!  You made out better than I did for sure.

 

It's either an 87 or 88 because of the Magnum engine.

??? I use a 48" SD deck also. Your deck chute is under the deck body, mine is on top, can flip up if I need a bit more clearance.

The older 48" decks had the chute installed underneath. Starting with the 15-48SC02 in 1990, the chute was allowed to rotate up. That is one of the reasons the older decks had the chute removed by owners. I've had/have two older decks and it wasn't until I got the second one that I realized that the chute was missing from the first.
