whtractors24 3,398 #1 Posted April 29, 2015 I have a 1987 wheel horse 310-8 with a 42 rear discharge. Withe the rear wheel handle all the way up anf the trunk on adjusted to its max with being 1/8 to 1/4 inch higher in the rear and the rubber stoppers hitting the floor boards I'm at like 2 7/8 in the front which is killing my lawn.... I even leave the lift handle up or down same case. Need help..... tire pressure is good .
whtractors24 3,398 #2 Posted April 29, 2015 Think I got it the side to side stopper / adjusters were set to low ..
tunahead72 2,548 #3 Posted April 29, 2015 I'm curious, because I plan to adjust mine this weekend (it's a 42" side discharge on an '86 310-8)... Raising or lowering the lift handle made no difference? And what exactly did you adjust to solve the problem? Was it what the manual calls the "transport level stops"? whtractors24 3,398 #4 Posted April 29, 2015 yes those stops on each side stopped me from bringing the deck up past 2 7/8'.
